Delusions of God

On the improper use of mathematics (and an interestingly fallacious justification of the existence of god):

“You know the formula, m over nought equals infinity, m being any positive number? Well, why not reduce the equation to a simpler form by multiplying both sides by nought. In which case you have m equals infinity times nought. That is to say that a positive number is the product of zero and infinity. Doesn’t that demonstrate the creation of the universe by an infinite power out of nothing?”

On the opposite--and more plausible--explanation:

“Natural selection not only explains the whole of life; it also raises our consciousness to the power of science to explain how organized complexity can emerge from simple beginnings without any deliberate guidance.” -Dawkins

And the simplest of truths from Douglas Adams:

“I’d take the awe of understanding over the awe of ignorance any day”

Lastly, evidence that google knows me well:
